Investing in your community means becoming a member of the Urban League of Long Island. When you become a member of the Urban League of Long Island, you continue a long tradition of providing advocacy, research, and direct service programs designed to prepare the residents of both Nassau and Suffolk County for:

  • homeownership opportunities
  • educational programs
  • preparation for high school students to go on to post-secondary education
  • research for the State of Black Long Island (SOBLI)

Thank you for choosing to become a member of the Urban League of Long Island. All membership dues are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Payment includes all processing and credit card fees. Donations can be securely made with a debit or credit card via PayPal or mailed.

As a member of the Urban League of Long Island, you will be expected to: 1) pay your membership dues, 2) attend meetings and events, 3) use your professional skills and talents to make a difference.
Anyone! Specifically, we are looking for people who support our mission and are passionate about tackling the problems our community face.
Your membership includes access to monthly membership meetings held on the third Thursday of every month and access to our newsletter, where you’ll receive regular updates on our events and new offerings. Not to mention, you’ll be able to professionally connect with other members and supporters to discuss creative ways to solve the problems in Nassau and Suffolk County.
Your membership is valid for one calendar year.
Yes, to the fullest extent of the law.
Yes, receipts are automatically generated when you pay your for your membership dues online. We can also write you out a receipt for your records if you pay in person or via check.
Yes, you can write a check as well.
No. Students and individuals aged 60 or older are eligible for a reduced membership fee of $25.
